The Shade Collection is a female owned small business designed and dreamed up by life long beach lovers and hat wearers Tiare and Emma. Born and raised on the North Shore of O'ahu Tiare and her niece Emma dreamed of one day having their own collection of island accessories. From the beach, working with horses, or hiking O'ahu's beautiful mountains, Tiare and Emma are Inspired out of their love for adventures all the while staying cool and shaded from the year round Hawaiian sun. Four years ago The Shade Collection was born in their backyard as they began hand weaving traditional pāpale niu (coconut frond hats). With creativity, drive & the support of family, friends and an amazing community The Shade Collection is growing!
